Women’s Health, delivered with warmth and clarity.

Specialist GP care for every stage of a woman’s life - from periods and contraception to menopause.

Founded by Dr Ruth Guest.

Ona Wellbeing Collective is a GP-led women’s health service founded by Dr Ruth Guest, a women’s health specialist GP. We offer specialist clinical appointments - online and in Bristol via The Lagom Clinic - evidence-based education workshops for schools and workplaces, and a community access programme. We support women across all life stages: menstrual health, contraception, pregnancy, postnatal wellbeing, perimenopause and menopause.

Community & Access Programme

Our not-for-profit arm will focus on improving access to women’s health for communities who are often underserved — including refugees, people involved in sex work, and those facing social, economic or cultural barriers.
Through community partnerships, outreach and accessible education, we aim to reduce inequalities and create meaningful, practical routes to support.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Care that centres the whole woman.

“Healthcare works best when it is human, inclusive and empowering”

Ona Wellbeing Collective was founded by Dr Ruth Guest, a GP with a specialist expertise in women’s health, education and equitable access to care.

Ruth’s believes that women are best supported when they understand their bodies, feel heard, and have access to care and information that fits their real lives. She does this by bringing extensive experience supporting women across the full lifespan, from menstrual health and contraception, through pregnancy and postnatal welling, to perimenopause and menopause.

Alongside her clinical work, she delivers education and workshops across schools, workplaces and community organisations, recognising the powerful role of shared knowledge and peer support in improving wellbeing.

Ona was created to bring together evidence-based clinical care, education and community support — offering a more connected, compassionate approach to women’s health across every stage of life.

OUR APPROACH

Built on three foundations

Women’s health is optimised when care is compassionate, informed and accessible.
These three pillars shape everything we do.

Knowledge

Understanding your body, your hormones and your options empowers you to make informed choices for your health — at every stage of life and in every environment.

Access

Access means more than appointments. It’s about having the right information, supportive services and realistic options that fit your life, your body and your circumstances.

Community

We value the strength of shared experience. Group education, peer support and collaborative care help reduce isolation and build confidence alongside evidence-based guidance.

WHY “ONA”?

“She” - a name that centres on the individual woman

Ona means “she'“ in Polish. The name reflects a simple but powerful idea at the heart of this project: that women’s health should centre on the individual women - her body, her experiences, and the choices that are right for her. In some languages, “ona'“ also carries connotations of goodness and wellbeing, which felt fitting for a space focused on knowledge, support and community.
